01Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Calcully app or calcully.in (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

02What Calcully is — and isn't

Calcully is a calculation and educational utility app covering loans, investments, tax, insurance, business, retirement, education, health, and everyday math.

Calcully is not a financial advisor, tax advisor, loan provider, insurance company, or investment advisor. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Every result is an estimate based on the numbers you enter and the assumptions shown alongside it. Actual figures from your bank, insurer, or tax authority may differ due to day-count conventions, fees, rounding, or policy changes. Always confirm important decisions with a qualified professional and the relevant institution's own figures.

03License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Calcully on devices you own or control, for your own personal or (for Enterprise) business use, in line with these Terms. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or redistribute the app, or use it to build a competing product.

04Subscriptions and billing

Calcully offers three tiers:

  • Free — ₹0, all 39 calculators in Quick Mode, ad-supported.
  • Premium — ₹499/year, unlocks Guided Mode, PDF export, shareable result images, unlimited saved calculations, and removes ads.
  • Enterprise — ₹999/year, everything in Premium plus Sales Mode (Company Profile, Sales Executives, Customers, branded Proposals).

Premium and Enterprise are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Pricing shown in the app may vary slightly by store and region. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, through your Google Play or App Store account settings — Calcully itself cannot process cancellations or refunds, as we never handle your payment directly. Refund requests are handled under Google's and Apple's own refund policies.

05Free tier and advertising

The Free tier is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. By using the Free tier, you agree to the display of these ads. See our Privacy Policy for what advertising data is involved and how to manage it.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Calcully for any unlawful purpose, or to mislead someone about their actual financial obligations;
  • attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with subscription checks, ads, or other app functionality;
  • use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from the app or calcully.in;
  • upload or enter unlawfully obtained personal data about others into any feature, including Sales Mode.

07Enterprise and Sales Mode

Sales Mode is intended for loan agents, financial advisors, and sales professionals to present Calcully's calculations to their own customers. If you use Sales Mode to store a Company Profile, Sales Executives, or Customer details:

  • you're solely responsible for the accuracy of that information and for having a lawful basis (and consent, where required) to store and use it;
  • Proposals you generate and share are your own business communications — Calcully provides the tool, not the advice contained in what you send;
  • you must comply with applicable data-protection law in how you collect, use, and share your customers' information.

08Intellectual property

The Calcully name, logo, app design, and underlying code are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that ownership to you — you're licensed to use the app, not to own any part of it.

09Disclaimer of warranties

Calcully is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep every calculator accurate, but we don't guarantee that results will always exactly match your specific lender, insurer, or tax authority's figures — see "What Calcully is — and isn't" above. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calcully and its developers won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including financial decisions made based on the app's estimates — arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

11Termination

You can stop using Calcully at any time by uninstalling the app and cancelling any active subscription through your store account. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms, particularly the Acceptable Use section above.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your own country of residence.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Calcully evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
